This bib, designed for backcountry freeriding, offers exceptional waterproofing and protection. It is a robust shell bib, weighing 816g for M/L and 682g for W/M, specifically crafted for powder runs in the backcountry while excelling in various ski and snowboard activities.

The bib is constructed with premium GORE-TEX® fabric, renowned for its world-leading quality in durable waterproofing (28,000mm), outstanding breathability (RET Less than 9), and complete windproofness.

The primary fabric is a 3-layer 200D GORE-TEX® with ePE-based PFC-free technology (RET less than 9) and features a 100% recycled nylon face (152 g/m2). The lower legs are reinforced with a 220D Vectran fabric (350 g/m2) to enhance durability, especially in areas prone to friction with boots or steel edges.

Key features include mesh-lined zipper vents, with the left zipper extending for easy dressing, lower leg adjustments secured by snap buttons, integrated snow gaiters, two generously sized thigh pockets, a dedicated key pocket, and stretchy, adjustable suspenders. The fully covering front of the bib boasts two pockets, one of which has two internal compartments, along with a flexible 4-way stretch panel at the back. The men's design also includes a convenient zipped fly.

This bib offers a regular to relaxed fit with articulated knees, ensuring exceptional mobility, making it ideal for backcountry riding. Additionally, the high-rise bib design provides extra protection against the elements.

Materials

• vikingGrid300: This innovative fabric serves as reinforcement, offering high cut resistance and preventing damage from ski steel edges. It's primarily used for instep reinforcement in ski pants and is incredibly durable, designed as a synthetic weave in a 3-layer laminate construction. The material features high-strength fibers in both directions, making it one of the toughest fabrics in the collection. Its unique yarn design ensures durability even when exposed to UV light. Additionally, the surface is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish for excellent water protection. The weight of this material type is 300g and above.
• Bluesign® Approved Fabric: This fabric adheres to the principles of the independent bluesign® system, focusing on minimizing the environmental impact of materials throughout the production process. The Input Stream Management approach verifies the substances and raw materials used in textile production, promoting sustainability by reducing water and air emissions, improving wastewater treatment, and reducing the ecological footprint.
• Oeko-Tex® Certified Standard: Oeko-Tex® is an independent testing and certification system that evaluates raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products at all stages of processing. To receive certification, all components of an article must meet the required criteria, including outer fabric, sewing threads, inserts, prints, and non-textile accessories like buttons, zippers, and rivets.
• PFC Free DWR: PFCec FREE, which stands for "Per and Poly-Fluorinated Chemical free of Environmental Concern," signifies that the water repellent treatment (DWR) in products labeled as "PFCec FREE DWR" is free from PFCs, ensuring they do not harm the environment. Gore laminates bearing the PFCecFREE callout do not contain surface PFC agents on both the textile and membrane. Gore is committed to eliminating PFCs of Environmental Concern (PFCec FREE) by 2023 while maintaining product durability and performance.
